Autumn is always an inspiration with its rich hues of brown and golds. This lingerie case is a must have for lovers of autumn colours.

This softly padded lingerie case, which I have named Vivienne, is made in a gorgeous rich brown 100% fine silk dupion. I have sewn on bands of burnt orange and pale gold satin ribbon of two different widths, on both the front and under side of the nightdress case. 

I have used a gold coloured 100% satin Polyester for the lining and have edged this nightdress case with a delicate piping of gold and caramel diagonal stripes.

Just at the tip of the front flap I have included a mini tassel, which comprises two tones of brown, I love the copper tone in particular. And finally I added a pretty brown flower motif to bring all the wonderful autumns tones together – hand sewn and with added iridescent beads including blues, yellows, greens and mauves. These are tones you can often see in different lights and times of the day in this glorious season with its riot of colour. 

My beautiful unique handmade vintage inspired nightdress cases look great on your bed adding to your bedroom styling. Inside your nightdress, negligee or pyjamas will be safely tucked away ready for bedtime.

These can also be used as lingerie cases for your underwear to neatly store your bra and pants, stockings or tights and petticoats in a drawer at home or when travelling.
